Yeah no shit - maybe someone should do something about that. I assume this means you ecologists are all over the effects GMOs have on soil bacteria, since the Human Genome Project says the “unknown effects on other organisms (e.g., soil microbes)” is a safety controversy. And then there’s this unpublished study that says GMO crops kill the shit out of soil microbes essential for fertility. Anybody followed up on that…? Heckuva job.
